The desktop catalog
A Windows laptop gives the poster grid room to breathe. Search with a title, actor or director, then narrow the result by genre, release year, original language or length. The browser version does not require a separate Windows installer to use these features.
Keep browser zoom at a comfortable reading size. The layout rearranges itself as the window narrows, so you can compare a synopsis with another window without having to see a full desktop-width menu.
When an old guide mentions an installer
A version number in a Windows tutorial refers to that particular application, not every Popcorn Time site. Instructions about a desktop cache folder, catalog API or executable do not apply to your browser's My List. Do not erase your browser data simply because a different program's troubleshooting page says to clear its cache.
Before changing computers
Open My List, create a backup and keep the complete text. On the new computer, merge that text into the list in your preferred browser. Bookmarks and saved films are different things, so copying only the address will not carry your list with it.
