Choose a film before choosing a package
On macOS and Linux, a current browser can open the catalog directly. The movie pages, filters and series guides work as ordinary web pages. You do not need to choose between an Intel or Apple Silicon package to read a synopsis here.
Why installation instructions can disagree
Native applications must match their operating system and hardware. Popcorn Time instructions from different years also describe different software projects. A Linux archive, macOS disk image and browser shortcut are not interchangeable downloads. This catalog does not provide those native installers.
For an application already on your computer, record its project name, version and operating-system version before consulting its own documentation. That information makes an error report useful. A general statement that “Popcorn Time is broken” leaves too many different programs mixed together.
Browser-specific habits
Use the same browser profile when returning to My List. Private windows and profiles keep storage separately, and clearing site data can remove your selections. Make a list backup before cleaning browser storage or moving to another machine.
